The Holy Bible
The Holy Bible is the Word of God written by men who were divinely inspired. It is breathed out by God. It is wholly sufficient and authoritative for governing the lives and affairs of mankind. The sixty-six books of the Bible, made up of the Old Testament and New Testament, are without error. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 10:35; 1 Thessalonians 2:13).
-
God
God is the God of the Holy Bible and there is no other God besides Him. He is revealed in Scriptures as three distinct persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—yet He is one eternal being having no distinction in essence and nature. (Isaiah 45:5-7; Revelation 1:8; Deuteronomy 6:4; John 4:24; I Timothy 2:5).
-
Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Second Person in the Trinity, being fully God and fully man. He was born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life on earth and died a substitutionary death on a cross. He conquered hell, death, and the grave in His bodily resurrection. He is eternal. (John 10:30; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 15:20; John 1:1; Philippians 2:5-8; Romans 5:8; I Timothy 2:5).
-
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is eternal and coequal with God the Father, and God the Son, Jesus. The Holy Spirit helps, teaches, indwells believers, and convicts the world of sin and righteousness and judgment. He seals every believer with assurance of salvation through the blood of Christ. (John 14:16-17; 14:26; 16:8-11; 1 Corinthians 2:10-13; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30).
-
Man
Man was created in the image of God. He willfully disobeyed God, thereby bringing sin into the world. Because of man's sin, all humanity inherited a sinful nature and is the object of God's wrath. Man's only escape from eternal separation from God is in Christ alone, through faith alone, by grace alone. God created mankind as male and female. (Genesis 1:27; 2:7, 16-17; 5:1; Psalm 139:13).

-
Salvation
Salvation refers to man's redemption from eternal damnation. It is a free gift of God. It cannot be earned by human effort. Salvation is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ, who purchased us with His blood. (Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 4:10; Romans 5:10; John 5:24; 10:28-29; Titus 3:5).
-
Biblical Marriage
We believe and affirm that marriage was created by God and is intended to provide a picture of how Christ and His Bride (the Church) relate to each other. According to the Holy Bible, marriage is a covenant relationship between one biological male (“man”) and one biological female (“woman”) who bond in a single, exclusive union.
We believe and affirm that the man and woman (as husband and wife) are bound to each other as an expression of their love to God first, then to each other. Each party yields his/her rights for the good of the other and is committed to one another for life. (Genesis 1:27; 2:18-25; 5:1-2; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:21-33; 1 Corinthians 6:18; 7:2-5; Hebrews 13:4). -
Family
The biblical family begins with one man and one woman within the context of marriage, thereby forming an intact family structure. Children born or adopted into this "intact" structure are to be reared by their father and mother within the context of marriage. Parents are to teach their children the Word of God. The family is the nucleus of society in the sense that, as the family goes, so goes the world. (Genesis 2:18-24; 3:16; Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Malachi 2:15).
-
Biblical Sexuality
We believe and affirm that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female. These two, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God. Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. (Genesis 1:26-27; Matthew 19:4).
We believe and affirm that any form of sexual immorality (such as adultery, fornication, cohabitation, homosexual behavior, rejection of one’s biological sex, use of pornography, etc.) is sinful and offensive to God. (Leviticus 20:13; Matthew 5:28; 15:18-20; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, 18).
We believe and affirm that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. (Acts 3:19-21; Romans 10:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11).
We believe and affirm that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of the ministry. (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31; Ephesians 4:31; 1 John 3:14-15).
-
Sanctity of Life
We believe and affirm that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image. All human life, from conception to natural death—including pre-born babies, the aged, and the physically or mentally challenged—holds immeasurable value and dignity. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Genesis 1:26-27; 9:6; Psalm 139; Matthew 9:36; 14:14; 18:1-6).
